Found this tea at discount grocery, and it is so yummy! That’s my Mamo’s vintage strawberry mug. I pulled it out today for a bit of extra comfort. Truth is, incubating and nurturing our own business while also supporting me as a stay at home Mom, now living in one of the most expensive cities in the world, has begun to wear on us. For several years now, we’ve trucked along on a shoe string, incubating our passions, our gifts in the world, and now at what feels like the millionth final hour, we are tired, our hearts hurt, and our Spirits feel weary. I write because I need to let it out. I write because sometimes, it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows when you decide to take the leap of faith and blaze your own trail. Sometimes our cups feel so empty we want to disappear. I’m going to spare the “how I’m rising above” speech for now, because I want to believe it. I do. But for now, I need to feel this. I need to honor this pain as my teacher.
