A Muse in Harmony

The music we make, creates. Medicine music for the Soul.

#tbt ⚡ One thing in my life has been consistent since day 1. Singing. My first love. 🎤
With so many new friends here, I felt it was time for another little herstory.
💞
This pic was my first ever public performance at my Great Grandmother’s nursing home at age 9. It was the beginning of a whirlwind childhood, performing up to three shows a week, often conked out in the back of the car on the way home. 🌌
By 13, at the request of my new producer, I had moved to Nashville and was recording in the same studio as Lee Ann Womack, Jo Dee Messina, Brooks and Dunn and more. 🌠
My early career is what led my parents to homeschool me. I had no time for a conventional classroom or the judgments of my peers in our little Texas cow town. And I made more quality friends, because we met through shared passions instead of simply circumstance.
🐂
Had my parents not supported and homeschooled me, I never would have had the opportunities I was so blessed to experience at such a young age. I will always be grateful to them for everything they did (and still do) to make my dreams a reality and to help me excel. 🙏
These days I pay that same freedom forward to our children by unschooling them, supporting and providing resources for them in their chosen passions. 💫 http://ift.tt/2nAeQil

Author: A Muse in Harmony

I'm Jess, aka, A Muse in Harmony. Momprenuer, Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Educator/Facilitator and all around Badass Manifestor. I embrace music from a holistic perspective. More than just entertainment, it's a powerful tool of entrainment for the body, mind, spirit and the world as we experience it. I pledge to inspire, to move people, and perhaps a mountain or two, with my voice and music. To share my whole, beautiful and sometimes messy truth each and every moment I am on this sacred Earth, and encourage others to do the same.
